So this would allow municipalities re-zone without following the usual process, and approve higher buildings than allowed if builders provide "community benefits" and they would not need to consult with the public!
Who does this benefit? Builders, municipalities, possibly certain politicians who have land in prime areas that they wish to develop?
This was not part of the election mandate. This is not "for the people". As a matter of fact it is against the majority of the people living in Ontario.
