For consideration please.
My family and I reside in a condo and pay property taxes like all the other owners of residences within town.
In fact, this particular building based on the average age of nearly 80, has over the years gotten quite conscientious about doing our part, but as everything goes up, folks of a certain age simply do not have the funds to pay for ever soaring condo prices ( to do what they did even a year ago).
In this day and age, our tax $ should support the subsidy as its far less for the County to collection from one location vs that 100 homes...I suspect overhead is a fraction of the cost, and wonder if a formal review of County practices is not required.
The practice of pulling subsidies from lower income generally speaking vs the folks with abilities to bring in more income in the county is not acceptable - the county needs to ask operations, finance, purchasing departments etc to go back to the drawing board.
