Housing crisis and empty boarded up homes for over a decade? Shame on us. It reminds me of the boarded up homes when McMaster University wanted to build the proposed Lincoln Alexander student residence on Main St. Delayed for years. Finally, it had to take a homeless person dying in one the boarded up homes in a fire before action was taken to demolish the neighbour eye sore. It just doesn't seem to make sense.
