Prioritizing developing wasaga beach more is a terrible idea. Wasaga beach andall our provincial parks, conservation areas and historic parks need to be protected NOT developed. There is enough rampant development happening around the region, to the detriment of citizens, nature, wildlife and our economy. These developers come from out of town to extract money from our beautiful region, while leaving the region to deal with over population, environmental destruction and social challenges that ensue as a result. People live and visit wasaga beach and the entire southern georgian bay for its nature, access to provincial parks and public waters, and small town culture. Developing wasaga beach would negatively impact all the reasons people love the region in the first place. DO NOT Allow our irresponsible government to take our public lands.
