We desperately need to move forward with housing in Hamilton, and the Jamesville location is key to providing a variety of housing units. Anyone creating roadblocks to housing should be held to account, including CN Rail. Holding a housing project hostage with little to no accountability is wrong and should not be stood for by our government. Please ensure that housing can move forward with expediency - people are going to die due to houselessness as well as not being able to leave toxic and dangerous domestic situations due to inadequate access to housing options. Please issue the MZO and prioritize vulnerable constituents, including folks who find welcome, safety and community through Helping Hands Street Mission.
