I honestly feel that the Ontario Government is being so short-sighted with proposals and plans to develop more shoreline along Wasaga Beach and surrounding area. The habitat is critical for the endangered piping plover. This is a reckless act, born out of greed for profit and for developers. The land is actually "developed" - with an intact ecosystem that is priceless. Please reconsider and do not allow for the destruction of this vital habitat. Ontarians want a government that does not think of short term gains, but protects species and habitat for long term survival.
