As a longtime resident of Hamilton, I knew the Jamesville complex when it was full of families. The long overdue delay is starting it's new life as affordable and market rent housing is desperately needed to relieve the backlog on the city and its residents for affordable housing. The frivolous claims being made by a private company should not be allowed to continue. If the province has a mechanism to allow this project to move forward then it should use it.

As a taxpayer I have an expectation that my tax dollars will be used effectively for the betterment of my community. Wasting money on lawyers and court hearings is not an effective use of my tax dollars.
