It’s deeply disheartening to hear that a large portion of our provincial park is being opened up for development. These parks are not just beautiful landscapes—they are essential for protecting wildlife and preserving natural ecosystems for the future. Time and again, the municipality has made it clear that short-term profit takes priority over long-term environmental stewardship. Allowing development in one of our most iconic parks is a disgrace. My family visits provincial parks often, including Wasaga, and the thought of it becoming just another commercialized, overdeveloped shoreline is heartbreaking. This is not the legacy I want for my children
