I think it is appalling that CN has been able to stall development of much-needed affordable housing for so long.
THe part of this housing development closest to the CN rail yards is on MacNab St N. Between this point and the CN rail yard are houses on the west side of MacNab st N and on the east side of Bay St N. THere are also houses on Ferrie St W which are closer. Have residents in these locations complained about the noise from the rail yard? Have any moved out because the noise was unacceptable? THere are people living in these houses so they must be untroubled by any such noise.
Potential tenants can be made aware of the potential noise before they accept a tenancy.
