It is outrageous to think that it is even being considered to sell off the public beach and park areas of Wasaga beach.
These areas are a staple of GTA living and privatization would in no way serve the public's interest. This move would only benefit developers and as such, should not be under consideration at all.
In a world where we facing global warming and fewer and fewer people have access to the natural beauty our great province has to offer, we should be looking for ways to bolster and expand our environmental protection. Not reduce them.
