I do not agree with this proposed legislation to allow development on a part of Wasaga beach provincial park. It is an important habitat for an endangered species. Houses should not be built that close to any waterfront anyway as it makes them at high risk for flooding, as well as denigrating the natural lakeshore. Building in these areas will encourage erosion. Putting houses on the lake is really not necessary, people can travel to the waterfront and enjoy the natural beauty instead of clogging up the lakeshore with housing.
