This is outrageous. I live in Wasaga Beach. Our council should not be making decisions like this without public input. Protective Acts MUST not be changed. This will devalue the trust in the government by any taxpayer in this Province. This is wrong, otherwise you would not be asking for input. This land is not any politicians to give away, transfer, sell or develop. Full stop. These lands are protected for a reason. I ride my bike through these parks daily. They are enjoyed by all AS IS. Please leave the lands for younger generations to enjoy without the meddling of a council that is incapable. This council has formed two corporations with moneys from the Casino to host parties and concerts. It was supposed to lower our taxes. Our taxes in the last two years have gone up 17 percent. As residents of this town, we see the neglect throughout our town - roads, bus service, no doctors, no hospitals, not enough services for residents --- WHY DOESN'T THE TOWN RUN THE TOWN. They are hiding financials through corporations and I wouldn't trust them to babysit my cat. The Province needs to stop this sale/transfer as we need our parks to be without commercial influences. It is our sanctuary. Hands off!!!
