The Wasaga Beach Provincial Park beach areas need to remain intact and undeveloped. This is important nesting habitat for the endangered Piping Plover - one of only a few areas in the province where this significant rare species is known to nest.
The beaches of Wasaga Beach Provincial park should be forever protected for generations to come. Once these are removed for development they can never be replaced.
Provincial park lands should be protected in perpetuity for the people of Ontario. No sitting government should be allowed to remove lands from within a provincial park.
