Please do not sell the Crown lands of Wasaga Beach! If they need to be revitalized then use tax dollars to invest in them. Wasaga beach is a national treasure and should remain government owned. You will never get the actual value from a sale and even if you did, it will make going to Wasaga beach unaffordable for the common folk. I’ve gone there for four decades - please do not sell this land.
Specifically I am against this parting thenproposal and think it should be removed:
„The government is also proposing the sale of Crown-owned lands within Beach Areas 1, 2, New Wasaga and Allenwood Beach to the Town of Wasaga Beach to support their revitalization of the downtown area and tourism enhancement initiatives, while continuing to protect the area’s natural and cultural heritage.”
I hope that you really do take our voices into account.
