What environmental or economic studies have supported this attempt to possibly improve local municipality and businesses? Are the proposed sales of the land going to Canadian owned corporations that have a track record of environmental preservation?
The proposal states that "It is possible that some non-profit organizations also may be impacted by this proposal." Which non-profit? To what extent will they be impacted? What would the impact be?
Why is there no background to support this sudden change of ownership other than possible promises of money coming into the municipality and local businesses? What proof do you have that Wasaga, in particular, needs boosted economic support from the government of Ontario?
I do not support this change of ownership due to the lack of forethought in the proposal.
