I’m writing to express my opposition to the proposed sale and development of public land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.

I believe that this land is better stewarded for the public. This proposed sale and development is not in the public interest.

Public spaces like beaches are in high demand in the summer, and they are a boon to small communities like Wasaga, contributing to public wellness, access to outdoor space, and to the local economy, which relies on tourism.

Don't make the same mistake in Wasaga as you did with Ontario Place in Toronto.

I urge the Ontario government to keep Wasaga Beach public, protected, and undeveloped.
