I am opposed to the proposed changes. The beach is important habitat for the endangered piping plover. Once it is modified and developed, this important habitat will be lost, negatively impacting piping plover populations. Other wildlife that utilize the environment will be impacted as well. I believe that this area should continue to be part of the provincial park and protected from development. Tourists that would like to visit the beach can camp at the provincial park.
