The proposed changes infringe on the rights and heritage of Ontarians. Unlike childhood homes which we leave, get sold, sometimes demolished, our Provincial Parks are sites we can visit our entire lives, as children, young adults, parents and grandparents. They are places that help shape our identities and serve as places where lifelong memories are made. Places like Wasaga beach makes us proud, knowing it belongs to all Ontarians and Canadians. To sell off parcels of this beloved land sets a terrible
precedent that could scar provincial parks province-wide. And to sell off Wasaga Beach is taking something irreplaceable from us.
