This government has a penchant for sacrificing natural spaces enjoyed by the people of Ontario to developers who seek profit and not preservation of the land for the use of all citizens. If the purpose is to grow the town of Wasaga Beach economically, there are other ways to do that. Don't start selling off the parks that we need, the parks that we pay for with our taxes. This change in legislation would be the beginning of a dangerous slope under this government. Soon it will be all about profit instead of our land for the common good.Too much shoreline is already in the hands of wealthy people who do not care for our need to access the water that should not belong to anyone in particular. I am against this change.
