This proposal feels un-Canadian. We pride ourselves in our beautiful natural environment, Ontario’s wondrous great lakes. Ford’s government seems bent building on our greenbelt, our wetlands, and beaches; threatening endangered species in the name of economic growth. I strongly oppose this proposal just as I am enraged by Ford’s threats against safe active transportation in Toronto. This government is steering us away from conservation, good urbanism, and happiness towards American style, car-centric, profit-centred, and ultimately unhealthy ways of life.
