Please keep the protections in place and not allow the transfer of land at wasaga beach to the town. I’m a piping plover monitor with Montrose Beach in Illinois and know the many protections are needed to allow this endangered species a chance to rebound and hopefully thrive. Many legs of government help to coordinate the essential efforts needed, and they matter to plovers and other shorebirds. These charismatic and lovable birds are an umbrella species for other wildlife to have habitats and to be able to thrive.
