As an Ontario resident, I am vehemently opposed to this and any other proposal to amend the Provincial Parks and other Acts in such a way as to remove them from the protection they enjoy now. The Provincial Parks do contribute to tourism for local communities and to remove acres and to allow development under the guise of enhancing tourism is laughable. The Parks belong to everyone in ON, they are NOT yours to sell off and proposals under the (what should be criminal) Bill 5 are nothing short of an abuse of the people's trust. I am so sad for future generations of Ontarians because your government is ruining their heritage to benefit developers who probably are mostly American based.
