Hi there, please reconsider this amendment. This desire to change the law suggests there's a desire to dispose of other areas in the future in the same way. It’s a dangerous precedent in line with the Ford governments push to bulldoze our natural spaces to make more money. This government has a history of trying to dispose of park lands and public lands. Why? This area is environmentally sensitive, so just leave it alone and leave it to the MECP. Why would you give land to a division that oversees Tourism, when you need environmentalists and those with relative knowledge determining what is best for these treasured areas. We live in Ontario because of the nature and respect we have for it. This is the opposite of that. Wasaga definitely has enough tourism already.
