The Wasaga Beach shoreline is the most visited freshwater beach in Ontario. For this reason alone this beautiful coastline should remain untouched.
Another reason is the negative impact your law would have on vulnerable coastal bird species. I spent many happy hours at Wasaga in my childhood and youth and my family owned property there (a modest cottage ) from the 1940s until quite recently (Tiny Township). Please do not let access to this shoreline become less accessible or worse- a privilege for the very few. Respect for nature and natural habitats is cultivated by people being able to freely enjoy special places like Wasaga.
