I am writing regarding Ford's plan to sell off parts of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.
The Park was set up for Ontario's citizens to enjoy and to protect it from private encroachment. It is a very important ecosystem that deserves protection from developers planning highend developments for the wealthy.
Besides providing essential habitat for the native flora and fauna, the Park is an integral part of Ontario's natural and recreational legacy for all citizens.
By allowing the dismemberment of Wasaga, a very dangerous precedent will be set and all Provincial Parks are threatened.
