I’m writing to strongly oppose your government’s proposals to remove protected lands from provincial parks.
Ontario’s parks belong to the people, not wealthy developers. They safeguard endangered species, sensitive ecosystems, and the natural heritage that connects our communities and protects us from climate disaster.
I urge you to:
- Withdraw the proposals to sell off portions of our Provincial Parks and all changes to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act
- Reinstate the Endangered Species Act and strengthen protections for the Piping Plover and other at-risk species
- Keep Ontario parks in public hands forever
Protect our parks. Stop your privatization agenda.
