I’ve lived in Ontario all my life and it’s disgusting to think this administration wants to sell off publicly protected land for private development. This is an area owned and used by all Ontarians and should be kept as such. I don’t support any proposal to privatize beaches, and certainly don’t support reclassifying provincial park land. We should be expanding our park networks, not selling them to the highest bidder. Our parks our the Crown Jewels of this province which people travel from all over to see. Not kitschy hotels and overpriced tourist traps. The nature and splendour of Ontario should be protected at all costs. Shame on any politicians who vote in favour of this amendment.
