I am shocked that the Ontario government is proposing to sell roughly 60% of the Wasaga Beach shoreline contained within the provincial park. This is so exasperating. The citizens of Ontario require and deserve access to natural spaces within reasonable distances of crowded urban areas.
This is bad enough yet the government can't help itself and is now targeting the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act. Sadly, it probably intends to make it easier for itself to repeat this type of action in other parks without having to inform anyone. This is over-reach and should be stopped in its tracks.
