I am against the proposal to sell part of the Wasaga Beach provincial park. I feel that province should not be reducing the size of our precious provincial parks and instead should be looking at increasing the size of our parks and the number of parks. Particularly with climate change and increasing summer temperatures more people will be looking for ways to get out our cities and to areas where they can swim and enjoy our beaches and lakes. In addition to this we need more protected space for sensitive areas and species at risk.
