I strongly oppose the proposed changes.
We should be adding protections for provincial parks and the environment, not stripping away the few protections already in place.
Removing publicly owned park land to sell off to developers is always despicable but even more so amidst the ongoing climate and ecological crisis. Once again the Ford government has failed to prioritize public good over the private interests of developers.
We should be fighting to save and add to our park lands, increasing our conservation efforts. This bill is a step backwards, and as life long residents of the province my household strongly opposes these changes.
