This is appalling! Why is the province providing a mechanism to allow leapfrog development that over rules local planning? This development would literally be in the middle of nowhere, in the Rouge headwaters and with no services. Now all the services and construction and dirt and noise and traffic for what?! The housing market has tanked because there is no immigration, people can’t sell their existing homes, condos are empty and yet the province is literally facilitating the development of greenfields so they can prove they built more homes quicker? Disgraceful. This should not go ahead and Treasure Hill can take the province out of its pocket.
