I've had some of the best experiences of my life climbing on the escarpment; in particular my days at Devils Glen stand out. If climbing access to Devils Glen is acknowledged and protected, I believe it can become safer to climb there, and can continue to be practiced in balance with ecology and the local community.

Rock climbing is how I developed my appreciation and respect for nature, and it is a cornerstone of my mental health. With the state of our times (technology, loneliness, imbalance with nature, so much else) climbing outside is a remedy I hope more people get the chance to experience.
