I am very glad to see rock…

I am very glad to see rock climbing recognized as a permitted recreational use of Devil’s Glen Provincial Park. I have been climbing outside for 8 years, and climbing is my main hobby and form of exercise, and also how I connect with my friends and the environment. It’s very important to me to be able to participate in my favourite activity as a recognized recreational user. Strict rock climbing restrictions in parks was part of the reason I decided to leave Ontario, but I am happy to see rock climbing finally being recognized as a permitted activity! Getting out climbing in Ontario is how I first fell in love with the sport, and it has allowed me to explore and appreciate the nature that surrounded me in the province.
