I support the proposed changes to the Devil’s Glen Provincial Park Management Plan and encourage Ontario Parks to formally recognize climbing as a permitted activity.

Climbing has been part of Devil’s Glen for many years, and the community has shown strong commitment to practicing it responsibly and with respect for the natural environment. By legitimizing climbing, Ontario Parks can build on this stewardship, encourage healthy outdoor recreation, and create positive connections between people and nature.

I believe climbing can coexist with conservation goals, just as it has in other Ontario parks where partnerships with the climbing community have worked well.
