The proposal states that the first corporation would be owned by the three municipalities.
Is it true however, that shares could then be bought by outside parties whose sole interest is profit?
If that is the case, this proposal should not go forward. Essential services should not be privatized.
The privatization of water is said to have failed in the UK and, closer to home, in Hamilton.
Exactly, how is the proposal supposed to facilitate the building of homes and are the slight benefits worth the risk??
