I am extremely concerned and disappointed with this proposal. It does not appear to me that it has been thought out, and does not take into account the safety of residents and cottagers of the locations it will affect. Hunters actively wandering through forests and roads. Hunting from boats, on populated lakes amongst pleasure crafts, and all of this during the active summer months. I am not opposed to hunting, however this proposal is irresponsible, and will only lead to tragedy.
I am astounded that the government would even put this proposal forward.
