In a time of worsening climate change, it feels ridiculous to be reducing our ability to install safe commuting pathways for alternatives to car travel. Other countries have doubled and tripled their investments into decreasing the car dependancy and have seen significant rises in population health, happiness, and money spent in local economies.
Cars are not the future for Ontario, cycling and other forms of mass transport are.
