Cities need to be able to make decisions for themselves as to what can be built. This bill only restricts the ability for communities to decide what's best for their unique situation.
I live in Toronto and increasing the bike network is important, even when it comes at the cost of a car lane. I see this on Bloor street and Harbord which has decreased the decongestion and made it safer and healthier to commute through the city. I like living here because of how its layout is different from other car-centric cities. Let the city of Toronto make it's own decisions!
