I believe we have a responsibility to maintain and improve, not to worsen and neglect all aspects of life in Canada. Weakening the protections on our critically important and diverse environment is a short sighted strategy which will only lead to more harm to be done to our younger generations and the world they inherit from us.

For things to get better we have to be better, not capitulate our morals and seek what is easy. For this reason I support more protections via these amendments.
