Ontario is home to a plethora of bird species, but because they are an already threatened group - we should be focused on preserving them rather than following through with Bill 5 that will inevitably push them further toward endangerment. 25 bird species are specifically threatened by this bill. Birds are not only beautiful but they are keystones to having a rich, biodiverse environment that Ontario is known for.
