As a daily driver in Toronto, I'm writing to oppose this proposal.

I WANT more protected bike lanes because they keep cyclists out of my driving lanes. When cyclists are forced to share the road with cars, they create unpredictable situations that make driving more stressful and dangerous. I've had too many close calls with cyclists swerving around parked cars or potholes.

Protected bike lanes separate cyclists from vehicle traffic, making it safer and more predictable for everyone. This proposal would force more cyclists onto roads without proper infrastructure, creating more hazards for drivers.

Let municipalities build the bike lanes that keep cyclists where they belong - in protected lanes, not in front of my car.
