While I agree that we need to improve Canadian Economy, leaders need to do so with shared values of commerce and sustainability. This means holding wildlife in high regard at the foundation of policy and development. The endangered species act is long and slow, but the solution is not to remove the at-risk wildlife. Your Government would be HIGHLY revered if they could facilitate these developments in ways that were not to the determent of others -plants, animals and humans like. In-tact and healthy ecosystems hold value in their ecosystem services, but also are magnetic to people -people will want to live, work and spend money in places that are exemplary in the respect and balance of nature. Please listen to the wildlife experts, please take a moment to consider the true consequences of this, beyond the paycheck from the developers.
