I am a healthcare provider…

I am a healthcare provider in this province and I must admit I do not know much about our ecosystems and the laws that protect it.
But what I have observed in the last 4+years of this conservative government is the attempt to dismantle the laws that have saved of our beautiful wild life, ecosystems and protected land from destruction, interference, development and greed.
I do not agree with the proposed legislative and regulatory amendments to enable the new Species Conservation Act. From my understanding this will bypass the important procedures and consulting bodies that have previously protected our sacred land. I take pride in knowing that our province has beautiful and protected land. I fear what the outcome of this decision would be. Potentially irreversible and likely lethal to many protected species and plants. Our ecosystems are already struggling. How could we pass an amendment that will allow for ignorant greedy decision making!? Especially for such short term gain such as development…I do not agree with this amendment. Shame on us for allowing this to even be a possibility.
