I implore legislators to see the bigger picture -- that the wild and natural environment is connected to our civilized society through a delicate invisible string that connects ALL life on earth. Today, we suffer and we struggle from the consequences of environmental disregard that our predecessors have committed. Because we have treated the earth so poorly before, now we are sick... we are lacking resources... and the people are losing hope. Please think of today's youth and our future generations that will have to spend centuries trying to undo the damage this legislation will inevitably cause. Otherwise, we will fight and destroy everything out of greed until we have destroyed one another. Please think of your children and grandchildren, they deserve a future with green trees, clean air, and song birds too. They deserve a childhood like yours -- being able to run and play outside without worrying about sickness and manmade dangers. Did you notice that we do not see bugs anymore in the summer? First it is them, then it is us. The ecosystem is like a house of cards -- make a microscopic misstep at the base and the whole structure will crumble. Please have regard of life on this planet, I beg you... and if not for yourself in this lifetime, then for the people of our future who will have to spend centuries suffering and trying to recover from what we have done.
