We need the Endangered Species, there are many critical pollinators and they play an important role in our ecosystems.
The changes to the Endangered Species act are deplorable and only have the interest of land developers at heart. It provides Cabinet the power to decide which species deserve protection, effectively making protection a political choice, not a scientific one.
Defining animal “habitat” to mean only the nest, den, or immediate area around it and not the forests, wetlands or feeding grounds is wrong. Repeal Bill 5 now and restore the protections before irreparable damage occurs.
