This comment is regarding the proposed transfer of water and wastewater to a standalone utility from Peel Region.
This is a costly and pointless idea. The Water and Wastewater services are already funded by the locals, and the Region of Peel runs it meticulously. This proposed change will drive up costs for residents and businesses all while achieving the exact same result.
