Hello,
Thank you for prioritizing how people get to work. However, I am concerned that this Bill is only focused on personal automobiles and will be detrimental to more sustainable future-focused methods of transportation including priority bus lanes and bicycles. As our province grows, it is increasingly obvious that cars are not the future. As a previous resident of Los Angeles, I have seen how much community and personal sacrifice we lose when we prioritize cars over pedestrians. Clearly this provincial government is capable, we have seen how they were able to speed up the Gardiner Expressway construction, I wish that they would also focus their tremendous ability and resources towards finishing the Ontario Line and working with the City of Toronto to build eviendence-based transit that works for everyone, unfortunately, that is not cars.
Thank you for your consideration, best wishes,
Sophie
