I am both a driver and a cyclist. As a driver I feel much better with bike lanes as I don’t get close enough to cyclists to have potentially fatal accidents.
As a cyclist on roads without bike lanes, I have had many close calls with cars.
Bike lanes save serious injuries and deaths. The is no valid reason to eliminate bike lanes. I don’t want any cyclist’s family to get that call that they have lost a loved one.
