As a daily bike rider in the Liberty Village, Queen Street West, Bloor, and High Park areas of Toronto, I rely on safe cycling infrastructure to commute and enjoy my community. Bill 60 threatens to endanger my safety by preventing municipalities from creating or improving bike lanes and other space reallocations from cars to people. This legislation puts cyclists like me at risk by impeding progress on much-needed safe infrastructure. I urge you to reconsider Bill 60 and prioritize public safety and sustainable transportation.
