We have to allow for more environmentally friendly means of transportation. Today the expectation of driving down town is completely unrealistic. Look at major cities in Europe which have car free centres. If they can do it so can we. We need to get walkable city centres free of fumes, tire particulate etc which are damaging car f
Eliminating speed cameras just transfers the costs from motorists to tax payers who then have to pay a forecast $210M to install mitigating devices such as roundabouts, speed humps etc.
Let the municipalities workout the best solutions for their cities. That's why we have mayors and town councils. It should not involve the Provincial Government.
Regrettably the Provincial Government has shown it's self to be inept in many areas such as finishing the Crosstown LRT, Ontario Science Centre, Ontario Place.
